This Ct III in Warehousing and storage(Transport & Logistics)  is applicable for a role in general warehouse duties such as house keeping, receipting, stock locating, stock maintenance, stock replenishment, forklift operation, order picking, packaging, stocktaking and reconciliation and order checking and dispatch.  Some computer skills may be required.

It also involves known routines, methods and procedures where some discretion and judgment is required in the selection of equipment, services or contingency measures.  Supervision of others in a team may be a requirement of an individual job role.

Certificate II Warehousing and Storage

The Certificate II in Transport & Logistics (Warehousing and Storage) is applicable to general warehouse duties such as:

  • house keeping
  • receipting
  • stock locating
  • stock maintenance
  • stock replenishment
  • order picking
  • packaging
  • order checking and dispatch - and may include maintaining records on a computer. 

Great emphasis will be placed on maintaining workplace safety and security.

Skills to be obtained and utilised include undertaking routines and procedures with accountability for accuracy and legibility of self generated workplace documentation and record keeping.

Duties are undertaken whilst under direct supervision and may involve manual handling tasks (including operation of a forklift and other workplace equipment) and working in teams.
