Overview

Nationally recognised Certificate III for Aged Care workers in Australia. The course is a great starting base for educating employees working within the Aged Care industry. This qualification addresses work primarily in residential facilities under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisation guidelines and service plans.

Duration of Study

Students are required to be employed in their chosen field of study to enhance their ‘on-the-job’ learning. They need to be supervised by a qualified staff member and working a minimum of 16 hours per week. It is anticipated students will take 12 months to complete this qualification.

Funding

Students studying this qualification may be eligible for funding as a traineeship in NSW.
