Trainees undertaking Certificate IV in Agriculture will be involved in a wide range of tasks and duties, and across a range of agricultural and rural production areas,to be carried out autonomously to maintain farm efficiency and productivity.
Tasks may include:
- planting and harvesting crops and all duties associated therewith
- implementing animal and crop husbandry practices
- servicing and maintaining farm equipment and machinery
- operating specialised farm machinery, and
- designing, construction and maintenance of fencing.
